organization for the purposes of:
●Providing current information
to staff development personnel ●Promoting effective professional
learning practices
●Providing the opportunity to learn from and share with others
●Collaborating with other organizations that promote professional development and,
●Expanding the opportunities for staff
development leaders.

(PLC's)
PLC's start with a group of 2-8 teachers who meet regularly
as a team to identify essential and valued student learning,
develop common formative assessments, analyze current
achievement, set achievement goals, share strategies, and
then create lessons to improve upon those goals (Schomoker,
2005). |
